I’d like to enter your inbox today by repeating my sentiment from last week, and briefly expanding upon it. The vibe is so fragile. The seasons are changing. As I aptly noted in my new fall playlist, “when it’s suddenly SAD sun lamp season and no longer warm breeze in your hair season.”
Almost every person I have spoken to over the last two weeks has agreed that they have been having a Universally Bad Time. It seems that a number of relationships have ended, personal and family problems abound, and capitalistic pressures are collapsing upon us all. I personally am having a ridiculously busy week, and find myself once again pushing my limits. My struggle meal breakfast was four Ibuprofen this morning.
If you couldn’t tell by the three days late you’re receiving this, there’s not gonna be a full newsletter this week, but I hope by Sunday the 9th I’ll have a fun little review/rant in your hands, schedule providing. In the meantime, feel free to read/re-read one of my favorite issues, this one on self-care and what that means to me. I know I’ll be keeping it close to my heart as we push on, and reminding myself of what it means to be present, excelling, and striving in the ways that I want to do so and celebrating myself for achieving that. I haven’t said it in a while, so, I love you, and I’ll see you next week!
