issue thirty-one: talk spring/summer fashion with me! (thread)

Hi everyone! I certainly can’t claim to be a fashion writer, nor do I have much experience in covering style with an expert eye. I do, however, have a Pinterest account that gets a lot of use, strong convictions on which looks are cute and those which need to be retired forevermore, and a penchant for sunlight that is being desperately neglected in these dark days. Without further ado, here is what I will be rocking in the coming months as I anticipate the return of Vitamin D to my system.
Linens, of course, as a staple and a layer (particularly in dresses!)
Lightweight knits for layering and also fun little dainty tops, because I do love a dainty top.
New Balance sneakers. I have a cute little pink pair and they keep my soles singing. No further comment.
Tote bags, still. A girl has to carry her hammock and laptop all in one!
No hair accessories. Declaring this the summer of rest and relaxation (as in restoration not chemical processing) for my hair follicles, and letting the curls loose for as much time as I can.
Tankinis. The potential! The comfort! The support!
Last but certainly not least (and probably first and foremost) a standard uniform of a cute tee and cutoffs. The jortaissance is upon us.
Of course, I want to know what y’all will be wearing too. Imagine that we’re all crammed into my dorm bathroom in front of a mirror hastily getting ready to go out, and we’re contemplating the highs and lows of another summer of platform sandals. Comment below!
